Hawaii implements price increase
The cost of a 2002 Hawaii Wildlife stamp to validate a hunting license will go from $5 to $10, and feature a Chukau partridge.
The additional funds will be used to lease hunting land on Lanai and to develop other mammal and bird hunting areas.
Hawaii is hoping to encourage stamp purchases by offering a wholesale rate of $7.50 per stamp for purchases of ten or more stamps at a single time. They also request a processing fee of $5 per item for special stamps, such as corner singles from separate sheets.
Thanks to Clarence McIntosh for keeping us informed of the changes in Hawaii's program.
